El-Shaddai Church History
The El SHADDAI Methodist Church in Talegaon Dabhade, founded on November 6th, 1887, began with only a handful of families. Despite its humble beginnings, the congregation leaned on the Lord alone and experienced tremendous growth, eventually reaching over 180 members.
Throughout its long history, the church has faced both challenges and triumphs, always placing its faith in Jesus Christ. The initial building was a simple and old structure, but with time and the Lord's provision, the church has been able to develop its infrastructure into a recent and magnificent edifice, complete with all the necessary facilities.
One of the significant aspects of the El SHADDAI Methodist Church is its commitment to regular Sunday worship. The congregation gathers each Sunday at 9.30 AM to praise the Lord and receive His teachings. This consistent time of worship has fostered a strong sense of community and unity among its members.
Besides Sunday service, the congregation at El SHADDAI Methodist Church actively engages in various faith-building activities. These include Sunday School, where children and youth learn about the teachings of Jesus Christ, allowing them to grow in their understanding and relationship with God. The Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF) provides young adults with opportunities for fellowship, service, and personal growth.
